There are many special options available for your big wedding day, in the historic Georgian town of Cockermouth. The Saints Rooms is perfectly placed for any choice you may take. The beautiful Baronial Hall complete with stone and polished hardwoods, luxurious carpets and chandeliers, sprung dance floor and bar, is an ideal setting for the celebration of your special day.
We have a spectacular 5 star accredited Country House Hotel with a wedding licence for Civil ceremonies. Set in the magical landscape of Lorton, your wedding is made as close to perfect as possible. | Bar | Fully licensed and staffed bar exclusively for you and your guests….and we can serve “real ale” by arrangement. Last orders are at 11pm, but on occasion we can arrange a late licence. We are also happy to start your celebrations earlier if this suits your requirements. |
| Dancing | Great Disco lighting, a professional stage, and a sprung maple dance floor – ideal for any entertainment from Bach to Rock |
| Catering | We provide wonderful food for all occasions, and you can download a range of options from this site (remember we can do almost anything, so just ask if you don’t see what you would like!) If you choose not to use our catering, we do hire out our kitchen for your own use on occasion, and it has everything you will need for basic preparation.
